Legendary Coatesville Teacher and Coach Ross Kershey Passes Away at Age 90
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ross Kershey, a legendary teacher, boys basketball coach, and track coach at Coatesville High School. Kershey, who dedicated his life to shaping the lives of young athletes, passed away this morning at the age of 90.
Kershey’s impact on the Coatesville community cannot be overstated. He was not only a highly respected teacher but also a beloved coach who inspired generations of students both on and off the court. His commitment to excellence and his unwavering dedication to his players earned him a special place in the hearts of the entire Coatesville community.
During his tenure as a coach, Kershey led numerous teams to victory, instilling in his players the values of hard work, discipline, and teamwork. His coaching prowess extended to both basketball and track, where he guided athletes to achieve their full potential.
