Two men have died in a collision between a truck and a minivan on Highway 4 near Lac Pelletier. The drivers, an 82-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, were declared dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. Regina Leader-Post reported

Two individuals have tragically lost their lives following a devastating collision on Highway 4 near Lac Pelletier on Tuesday.
The Swift Current Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) received an urgent report of a two-vehicle crash involving a truck and a minivan at approximately 8:15 p.m. that evening.

Upon arrival at the scene, emergency medical services (EMS) pronounced both drivers deceased.
The driver of the truck, an 82-year-old man from Neville, was identified as one of the victims, while the driver and sole occupant of the minivan, a 35-year-old man from Cadillac, was identified as the other. Their respective families have been notified of the tragic incident.
In addition, there was a passenger in the truck who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at a local hospital.
Following the collision, Highway 4 was temporarily closed to facilitate the initial investigation. However, it has since been reopened. The Swift Current Rural RCMP, with the assistance of a collision reconstructionist, are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
Lac Pelletier, which is situated approximately 45 kilometers south of Swift Current, was the location of this devastating accident.
