The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has thanked the community for helping identify two suspects involved in a truck theft operation. The suspects, Akeiva Barnes and Nathan Todd, are wanted for felony charges of theft by taking. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is expressing gratitude to the wider community for their invaluable support and assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an ongoing truck theft operation. Sheriff Barry Babb acknowledges the community’s contributions but emphasizes that their work is not yet finished. The Sheriff’s Office is now reaching out to the public again, seeking assistance in locating the whereabouts of Akeiva Barnes and Nathan Todd.
According to reports, the incident occurred on the morning of October 25 at the Welcome Pantry on Hwy. 138. During this time, a red Ford F-150 was left running at the gas station entrance, and one of the suspects entered the truck and drove away while the driver was inside the store.
In an effort to identify the individuals involved in the theft, officials have released surveillance footage from the gas station, hoping that someone will recognize the suspects.
On November 6, the FCSO provided an update on the case through their social media platforms, announcing that the two suspects had been identified and requesting the public’s help in locating them.
