Police in Prince Albert have identified 37-year-old Nicole Lisa Laurin as the city’s fourth homicide victim of 2023. The incident occurred on October 6th when police responded to a weapons complaint at a home on 13th Street East. Upon arrival, they found Laurin suffering from serious injuries. She was immediately rushed to Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.
Laurin, who was originally from Sisk Lake, Manitoba, leaves behind two children, as stated in her obituary. This tragic event has not only claimed a life but has also left a 31-year-old woman seriously injured. She is currently in stable condition at a local hospital.
