Toronto Police Identify Victim of Fatal Shooting in City’s West End
Toronto, ON – Toronto police have identified the man fatally shot in the city’s west end on Thursday night. The shooting took place in the area of Northcliffe Boulevard and St. Clair Avenue West. The victim, identified as 23-year-old Nakhan Negus Henry-Robinson, ran into a nearby restaurant for help after being shot. A 51-year-old woman also sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.

Upon arrival, police and paramedics found the two victims, one with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and the other with a gunshot wound to the leg. A firearm was recovered at the scene. Both victims were immediately transported to the hospital, but unfortunately, Henry-Robinson succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
With this incident, Henry-Robinson became the 42nd homicide victim in Toronto this year. The police are investigating the shooting and have yet to release a description of the suspect, who reportedly fled the scene on foot.
