Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: In an act of vengeance for the alleged murder of his brother a few months ago, a man named Vishwas Shinde killed the sibling of the accused, Bharat Pawar, on Sunday night in Nanded, according to a statement by the police. The incident took place in a busy area of Nanded shortly after Laxmi pujan at Bharat’s home. The police have identified Vishwas Shinde as the main suspect and stated that he, along with his accomplices, is currently on the run. Efforts are being made to apprehend them.
The Superintendent of Police, Shrikrishna Kokate, along with Additional SP Abinash Kumar and other police officers, visited the crime scene to gather evidence. The police have launched a manhunt and dispatched teams to track down Vishwas Shinde and his associates.
To provide context, it is important to note that this act of revenge was motivated by an earlier incident. A few months ago, Bharat Pawar’s brother, Dilip Pawar, allegedly murdered Vishwas Shinde’s brother, Sachin Shinde, in Parli. The body was later torched. Dilip Pawar has been arrested in connection with that case and is currently in custody.
In recent news, there have been other instances of violent crimes. In Srikakulam district, India, two elder brothers killed their younger sibling, Badri Khetro, over a property dispute. The victim was brutally attacked with knives, resulting in his death. Previous attempts at reconciliation had failed, and the brothers resorted to violence. The police are investigating the case, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, a man named Farookh, who was accused of murder and robbery and had a bounty of Rs 50,000 on his head, was killed in a police encounter. Farookh had attacked a businessman and his wife, leading to the death of the wife. His accomplice had already been apprehended, and cash and other items were recovered from Farookh’s possession.
In a separate incident, the security personnel of poet Kumar Vishwas have been booked for assault in a road rage incident in Ghaziabad. The doctor involved in the incident claims that he gave way to a police car, but the occupants of a car behind it, who were Vishwas’s security personnel, stopped and verbally abused him. They proceeded to physically assault him and snatch his smartwatch. The doctor sustained head and eye injuries and is currently in the ICU. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
