In a horrifying incident, Mark McKeown, a 61-year-old man from Florida, has been accused of intentionally running over his elderly father multiple times with his truck. After committing this gruesome act, he callously fled the scene, leaving his father to die. The authorities have arrested Mark and charged him with leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place in a bar parking lot. Thomas McKeown, 86 years old, was struck and dragged by a black pickup truck driven by his own son. The investigation reveals that Thomas fell in front of the truck as it was backing into a parking space, and instead of stopping to help his father, Mark ran him over. Shockingly, Mark then repeatedly reversed and moved forward over his father’s body, inflicting unimaginable pain and suffering. The truck eventually sped away from the scene, leaving behind a trail of horror.
Tragically, Thomas was pronounced dead upon his arrival at the hospital. The authorities are continuing their investigation into this disturbing incident, and it remains unclear whether additional charges will be filed against Mark. As of now, there is no attorney listed for him in court records.
Mark’s release from custody on a $50,000 bond has sparked outrage as he is free while the investigation unfolds. People are demanding justice for Thomas and waiting for the legal system to hold Mark accountable for his heinous actions.
