The raid was carried out under the guidance of Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal, with the CCB unit officers and personnel leading the operation.
The seized items and the arrest of the drug peddler mark a significant victory for law enforcement in their ongoing efforts to combat the illegal drug trade in Mangaluru. The CCB’s swift action in response to the tip-off demonstrates their commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the public, particularly the city’s students who may be targeted by drug dealers.
The successful operation serves as a reminder of the importance of community members providing information to law enforcement agencies. By reporting suspicious activities and individuals, residents can play a crucial role in helping to maintain a drug-free environment in their neighborhoods.
The case has been registered at Kankanady police station, and further investigations are underway. The police will continue their efforts to dismantle drug networks and bring those responsible for the illicit trade to justice.
