Suspect on the Run After Shooting in Lenoir City, Tennessee
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – According to the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, a suspect is currently evading capture following a shooting incident in Lenoir City. The Chief Deputy, Zac Frye, informed WVLT News that the fugitive, identified as James Burch, is considered to be armed and dangerous.
The shooting occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, as stated by Frye. Fortunately, the victim is now in a stable condition at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The incident took place in the 22000 block of Martel Road.
Following the shooting, Burch fled the scene in a white van, and law enforcement officers are currently engaged in an active search operation to apprehend him.
