A 27-year-old man named Parmvir Chahil, hailing from Windsor, has tragically lost his life in a shooting incident that occurred in an underground parking garage in downtown Toronto. The incident took place on Wednesday evening at the garage located at 388 Yonge Street, near Gerrard Street East.
Despite the prompt application of life-saving measures, Chahil succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. This unfortunate event marks the 59th homicide in the city this year.
Following the incident, the suspect hastily fled the scene in a newer model silver SUV. As of now, the police have not provided any detailed description of the suspect.
