A Plainview man was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Olmsted County, Minnesota. The collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 247 and County Rd. 128. The driver of the sedan, Edward Clayton Hainer, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol reported that both drivers were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. A Plainview man was injured and had to be hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Olmsted County, Minnesota. The incident occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 247 and County Rd. 128, approximately eight miles east of Oronoco. The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene around 1:45 p.m. The crash involved a pick-up truck and a sedan traveling eastbound, which collided with each other.
The driver of the sedan, identified as 38-year-old Edward Clayton Hainer, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment. Fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening. The driver of the pick-up truck, 43-year-old Caleb John Klassen from Wabasha, did not sustain any injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, and alcohol was not a contributing factor to the crash. The accident took place on a dry highway.
