Bowling Green Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault at Hotel
In Bowling Green, Kentucky, a man has been taken into custody after being accused of sexually assaulting a hotel employee. The incident occurred at the Wingate Hotel on Greenwood Lane, prompting a quick response from the Bowling Green Police Department.
The victim reported that the suspect initially entered the hotel’s front lobby and attempted to sleep on the furniture. The employee asked him to leave, but he returned multiple times. Eventually, when she insisted that he depart, he jumped over the counter, physically assaulted her, forced her into a sexual act, and fled the scene a few minutes later.
Law enforcement officers were able to locate the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Johnson Dukuly Lloyd, in the vicinity. Although he attempted to escape, he was swiftly apprehended. During questioning, Lloyd revealed that he was homeless and had been brought to Bowling Green by the Franklin Police Department a couple of hours prior to the incident.
Authorities have charged Lloyd with fourth-degree assault, first-degree rape, and second-degree fleeing/evading police on foot. He is currently being held in jail. The Bowling Green Police Department announced the arrest on Saturday, December 2.
