Two individuals have been apprehended by the Beverly Hills Police Department in connection with a series of armed robberies in Southern California. The suspects have been identified as Justice Bloodworth, 21, from Los Angeles, and Cameron Woods-Harvey, 23, from Long Beach.
Over a four-month period, spanning from July to October 2023, the armed suspects specifically targeted residents in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Their focus was primarily on individuals wearing high-end watches and jewelry, according to the police.
The suspects are believed to be responsible for at least six robberies within Los Angeles County, as well as a home invasion robbery in Brea. To aid in the capture of the suspects, the Beverly Hills police collaborated with multiple agencies, including the Santa Monica Police Department, L.A. County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood Division, L.A. Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division, LA IMPACT, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
As a result of the multi-agency investigation, numerous search warrants were executed at various locations across Southern California and Flagstaff, Arizona. These searches led to the recovery of stolen property belonging to two victims. The evidence obtained during the searches included six firearms, including assault weapons, stolen luxury watches, fine jewelry, and other valuable items.
On October 12, Bloodworth was arrested and charged with four counts of robbery, one count of conspiracy, and one count of felony reckless evading. Interestingly, it was discovered that Bloodworth had previously been released on bail for several other armed robberies at the time of his arrest. He is currently being held without bail.
