A car driven by a Russian traveler collided with three tourists in a village in North Goa early Saturday morning, resulting in their deaths. Deputy Superintendent of Police Jivba Dalvi informed reporters that the incident occurred at Arpora village at around 3:30 am when the victims were about to enter their car.
“The speeding car driven by Russian traveler Anton Bychkov (27) crashed into the three tourists, identified as Mahesh Sharma (from Nashik), Dilipkumar Bang, and Manojkumar Soni (both from Hyderabad), instantly killing them,” he said. The Russian man’s vehicle also fell into a nearby nullah, causing him serious injuries. Currently, he is receiving treatment at the Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim.
Once the Russian tourist is discharged from the hospital, legal action will be taken against him, according to Dalvi.
