A fatal car accident occurred in Medford at approximately 9:40 p.m. on Friday, December 1. The driver, a resident of Mastic, was operating a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling northbound on Hospital Road. Unfortunately, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer across East Woodside Avenue and crash into a densely wooded area, colliding with several trees along the way. The impact proved to be fatal, as the driver, identified as 33-year-old Kristopher Muller from Mastic, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
In an effort to gather more information about the accident, the Suffolk County Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has knowledge of the circumstances leading up to it to come forward. They can contact the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
