Corporate Bereavement Training Sessions Empower Employees to Offer Support
Recently, two companies, Rolls-Royce UK and TeamLocum, came together to support the important work of Brumshospice by organizing Corporate Bereavement Training sessions for their employees. The sessions aimed to equip participants with the skills and confidence to approach their peers and offer condolences and support in times of bereavement.
The training sessions, which took place over the course of two days, were well-received by a total of 30 employees from both companies. Through these sessions, participants gained valuable insights into effective communication strategies and learned how to navigate the sensitive topic of grief.
The positive impact of the training was evident as employees expressed feeling more empowered and knowledgeable in supporting their colleagues during difficult times. The sessions fostered a sense of empathy and understanding, creating a supportive work environment where individuals can lean on each other for emotional support.
