Vale Graham Brown: Former MUCCer and Victoria Representative
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Graham Brown, a former member of Melbourne University Cricket Club (MUCC) and a representative player for Victoria. Graham, who wore the FC Cap number 618, recently succumbed to a short illness. His loss is deeply mourned by the cricket community.
Throughout his cricketing career, Graham played an impressive 163 matches for the District 1st XI between 1961/62 and 1976/77. He represented various teams including Melbourne, MUCC, and Hawthorn East Melbourne. Graham’s dedication and exceptional skills on the field made him a respected figure in Victorian cricket.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Graham’s family during this difficult time. We share in their grief and acknowledge the immense contribution Graham made to the sport. His memory will forever be cherished by the cricketing fraternity.
