A woman from Coos County, Oregon, was taken into custody on Monday morning on charges of domestic violence after allegedly engaging in a physical altercation with a victim inside a residence in North Bend. The suspect, identified as Letitia Lovell, 47, is accused of choking, biting, and hitting the victim during the fight, according to authorities.
911 Call Report and Deputy’s Response
On November 13 at 7:46 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office received a distress call reporting an ongoing dispute at a home located on West Dove Lane in North Bend. A deputy promptly arrived at the scene and made contact with the victim, who displayed visible injuries consistent with being bitten, choked, and struck by Lovell. The suspect had already left the premises to go to work when law enforcement arrived.
Arrest and Detention
After identifying Letitia Lovell as the primary suspect, deputies located her at her workplace and placed her under arrest. Following the arrest, she was transported to the Coos County Jail. Lovell is now facing charges of fourth-degree assault as domestic violence and strangulation as domestic violence, as stated by official sources.
