Investigation Launched as Man Fatally Shot in Old East Dallas
Authorities have initiated an investigation following the tragic shooting of a man in Old East Dallas during the early hours of Tuesday morning, as confirmed by the police.
According to the police, at approximately 4 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 5300 block of Parry Avenue in response to reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, the officers discovered a man who had been shot at the specified location. The victim has been identified as Marco Ramirez, a 24-year-old male, who unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.
Investigators suspect that Ramirez’s vehicle was stolen from his residence, leading him to trail the culprits responsible for the theft to the area where the fatal shooting took place.
The precise number of suspects involved in the incident remains unclear; however, the police have confirmed that the stolen vehicle was located a short distance away from the scene of the shooting.
