HYDERABAD: In a tragic incident at a chemical godown located in Bazarghat near Nampally, Hyderabad, a major fire broke out leading to the loss of seven lives, while sixteen individuals were fortunate enough to be rescued. The local fire department swiftly initiated rescue operations, deploying three fire tenders to combat the blaze.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police confirmed that out of the deceased, four were men and two were women. Trapped inside the four-story building, several laborers were unable to escape the rapidly spreading fire. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the government immediately mobilized its resources to carry out the rescue mission.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire erupted due to a painting work being carried out on an old car in a narrow bylane adjacent to the godown. However, further details regarding the incident are still awaited.
