The crash occurred at 2000 Fannin St. around 2 a.m. According to the police investigation, Robinson was driving an eastbound Acura SUV with a green light when Herrera’s Chrysler 300, traveling at a high speed, ran a red light and collided with the Acura. The impact resulted in three individuals being ejected from the Acura, while the Chrysler veered off the road and struck Johnson, who was a pedestrian. Johnson and Oragwu were pronounced dead at the scene, while McMillian and Hayden were later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Two other passengers in the Acura, a 32-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, are currently hospitalized. The woman is in critical but stable condition, and the man is in stable condition. The crash took place around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Fannin Street and Pierce Street. According to the investigation conducted by the police, Robinson was driving an eastbound black Acura SUV with a green light on Pierce Street, while Herrera was driving a black Chrysler 300 at a high speed southbound on Fannin Street, running the red light and colliding with the Acura. The impact caused three individuals in the Acura to be thrown out of the vehicle, and the Chrysler veered off the road, hitting Johnson, who was a pedestrian. Unfortunately, Johnson and Oragwu were pronounced dead at the scene, while McMillian and Hayden succumbed to their injuries at a nearby hospital. Two other passengers in the Acura, a 32-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, are currently hospitalized. The woman is in critical but stable condition, while the man is in stable condition and both are able to communicate. It is currently believed that there were no passengers in the Chrysler.
