The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is currently conducting an active investigation into a tragic incident involving a pedestrian in Temple Hills. The pedestrian has been identified as 46-year-old Mitchel Feaster 2nd, a resident of Temple Hills. The incident occurred on November 9, 2023, at around 3:00 am, in the 4900 block of Saint Barnabas Road.
According to the initial findings of the investigation, both an SUV and a pickup truck struck the pedestrian in the eastbound lanes of Saint Barnabas Road. The pedestrian was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. It is worth noting that both drivers involved in the incident remained at the scene.

In another separate incident, the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is also investigating a fatal collision that took place in Bladensburg. The victim in this case has been identified as 27-year-old Mario Alemendarez from Hyattsville. The incident occurred on November 6, 2023, at approximately 6:25 pm, in the 4900 block of Annapolis Road.
Upon responding to the scene, officers from the Bladensburg Police Department discovered Alemendarez with severe injuries. He was immediately transported to a hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on November 8, 2023. The preliminary investigation suggests that Alemendarez was riding a dirt bike eastbound on Annapolis Road, while the driver of the pickup truck involved in the collision was traveling westbound. The collision occurred when the driver of the pickup truck attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot. Similar to the previous incident, the driver involved in this collision also remained at the scene.
