Central Crime Branch Arrests Man for Selling Narcotic Drugs in Mangaluru City
In a recent development, the Central Crime Branch police in Mangaluru have apprehended a 32-year-old individual on charges of illegally selling narcotic drugs to the public and students. The suspect, identified as Hasainar, also known as Acchu, hails from Harekala and currently resides in Bajal.
Based on a specific tip-off regarding the sale of drugs in Padil, the CCB personnel swiftly conducted a raid and successfully apprehended the accused. During the operation, the authorities seized 12 grams of MDMA, with an estimated value of Rs 60,000. Additionally, the police also confiscated a mobile phone and a digital weighing machine from the possession of the suspect. The total value of the seized items amounts to Rs 70,000.
Following the arrest, a case has been filed at the Kankanady police station. It has come to light that the accused is already facing charges in three other cases, including attempted murder and assault.
