Public Event in Madhya Pradesh’s Padli Village Turns Chaotic as Swarm of Bees Attack
A public event organized by Congress workers in Padli village, Madhya Pradesh, turned into a scene of panic and chaos as a swarm of bees attacked the attendees. A video capturing the incident has gone viral on social media, showcasing people fleeing in fear.
The incident took place in the Ichhawar legislative assembly district while Congress workers and officials were conducting door-to-door outreach and interacting with the locals in the village. Suddenly, they were swarmed by bees, forcing them to seek cover.
This incident is reminiscent of a similar event that occurred in Himachal Pradesh’s Mehrauli village in July of this year. During the final rites of a man named Sanwarmal, who had recently passed away in a road accident, over 80 people were injured when attacked by a swarm of bees.
Among the injured were relatives of Sanwarmal, who had gathered to bid their final farewell at the crematorium. Unfortunately, the peaceful ceremony was disrupted by a sudden and aggressive bee attack.
In a separate incident in Glasgow, Scotland in June 2023, a popular bar and restaurant had to temporarily shut down due to a massive swarm of bees that gathered and nested outside the building. The swarm appeared on the morning of June 25 and settled on a nearby railing.
To ensure the safety of staff and customers, immediate evacuation was carried out through a fire exit, and the closure was announced. Skilled employees worked diligently to relocate the bees away from the bar’s entrance, ultimately reopening the establishment after more than a day.
