An investigation conducted by the Waterfront police, under the leadership of Major Efren Diaz Jr., revealed that Relacion was peacefully walking in the area when a pair of unidentified assailants on a motorcycle approached him. Without any provocation, the assailants opened fire, leaving Relacion with two gunshot wounds in his shoulder.
Swift action was taken, and Relacion was immediately rushed to the Cebu City Medical Center for urgent medical attention. His injuries were being treated to ensure his recovery and well-being.
The Second Incident on C. Padilla Street
The second shooting incident transpired on C. Padilla Street, located in Barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City. This time, the victim was identified as Edylcens Cabellon, a 26-year-old resident of the area.
According to the investigation conducted by the Mambaling police, led by Major Jonathan Beethoven Taneo, Cabellon was walking home when he noticed that he was being followed by an individual named Rocky and his accomplice. Sensing danger, Cabellon quickly tried to evade his pursuers and ran for safety. However, his attempts were in vain as the suspect fired a single shot, grazing Cabellon’s head.
Thankfully, Cabellon’s injuries were minor, and he was immediately taken to the Cebu City Medical Center for a thorough examination. The medical professionals at the center confirmed that Cabellon was in a stable condition and would make a full recovery.
