The incident resulted in the tragic death of Shemar Powell-Flowers, a 29-year-old individual who was hit by a bullet during an altercation near Danforth and Carlaw avenues on July 23.
Following the incident, Powell-Flowers was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival at the hospital.
Mohamud Farah, a 34-year-old individual, has been identified as one of the suspects involved in the shooting. He has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the incident. However, Toronto Police are actively seeking another suspect, who is currently the subject of a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder.
