An FIR has been filed against the security personnel of poet Kumar Vishwas in Ghaziabad after a doctor was allegedly assaulted by them. This incident contradicts the claims made by Kumar Vishwas, a former AAP leader. The victim, Dr. Pallab Bajpai, a 35-year-old doctor, was reportedly beaten during a road rage incident on Wednesday. According to Dr. Bajpai’s complaint, the incident occurred after a police car requested to overtake his vehicle. However, another car passed his vehicle and an argument broke out between the occupants. The doctor’s car was forcefully stopped and he was assaulted by the men, who also snatched his smartwatch. Dr. Bajpai, who resides in Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad, works as a freelancer anesthetist in different hospitals in Delhi-NCR. At the time of the incident, he was on his way to an operation in a private hospital in Pratap Vihar after completing an operation at Arogya hospital in Vaishali.
The ACP of Indirapuram, Swatantra Singh, stated that the initial investigation revealed that the claim made by Kumar Vishwas on social media turned out to be false. Based on Dr. Bajpai’s complaint, an FIR has been registered at Indirapuram police station against Kumar’s security personnel under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including punishment for robbery, rioting, voluntarily causing hurt, intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, and criminal intimidation.
Kumar Vishwas had earlier posted on social media about the incident, stating that while he was traveling to Aligarh, a car driver attempted to attack the car of the security personnel accompanying him by hitting their car from both sides. When he intervened, the driver not only attacked the UP police constable but also the security personnel of the central forces. However, the police investigation revealed that this version of events was not true.
Overall, this incident highlights the alleged assault on a doctor during a road rage incident and the subsequent registration of an FIR against Kumar Vishwas’ security personnel. The investigation has debunked Vishwas’ claims, showing that the doctor’s complaint was valid. The police have taken appropriate action by filing an FIR and initiating legal proceedings against the accused. The incident raises concerns about the safety of individuals on the road and the need for strict enforcement of law and order..
