In New Delhi, two minors have been rescued and four individuals, including a man and his wife, have been apprehended by the Delhi Police in Andhra Pradesh for their alleged involvement in the trafficking of two girls. The accused have been identified as Jahangir, who has a history of 29 criminal cases, his wife Noor Jahan, Rang Palli, and Alauddin.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Rohit Meena, “We have arrested four people from Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur for allegedly trafficking two minor girls from Delhi.” The victims were held captive and coerced into engaging in illicit activities.
The investigation into this case began on August 21 when a complaint was filed at the Seemapuri police station. DCP Meena mentioned that they received support from the Chennai and Andhra Pradesh police in apprehending the accused.
