The victim, identified as 64-year-old Kevin Saint Clair, was an esteemed member of the school community, teaching 6th grade and serving as a middle school dean. According to authorities, a 2015 black Chrysler was traveling southbound on Henry Avenue at the same time Kevin Saint Clair was riding his bicycle eastbound on Wises Mills Road. As Saint Clair made a right turn onto Henry Avenue, the Chrysler collided with him, causing him to be thrown into the northbound lane. Tragically, a 2021 Toyota traveling in that lane was unable to avoid swerving away from him.
Emergency medical services rushed to the scene and transported Kevin Saint Clair to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Chrysler was also taken to the hospital and is currently listed in stable condition, recovering from the accident.
