Our thoughts and condolences go out to the colleagues and family of the aid worker, whose identity we have chosen not to disclose out of respect for their privacy during this difficult time. The loss of this compassionate individual is a tremendous blow to the humanitarian community and to all those who were fortunate enough to have known and worked with them.
While we currently do not have access to an expanded in-depth legacy and biography of the deceased, we understand that they were a valued member of the aid organization they represented.
