Born in Trinidad, Ové was a groundbreaking filmmaker who made significant contributions to the industry. His notable works include directing and co-writing the groundbreaking film “Pressure” in 1975, which marked the UK’s first full-length Black dramatic feature.
Ové’s legacy in the world of cinema is unparalleled.
